We promote spiritual development in French by:

  • Different parts of the Francophone world, social conventions. linguistic diversity of our school. (British Values: Mutual Respect and Tolerance) 
  • Behavioural differences (faire la bise), taking turns, listening to each other. Rule of law Remembrance Day, Sports (British Values: Mutual Respect and Tolerance)
  • Differences in families, EAL students celebrating family languages. (British Values: Mutual Respect and Tolerance) 
  • Typical French games and stories. (British Values: Individual liberty and Mutual Respect and Tolerance) 
  • All children can access French, through scaffolding, phonics, singing, acting, miming and learning skills together. (British Value: Individual liberty)  
  • Peer assessment working together, listening to each other, performing songs. (British Values: Mutual Respect and Tolerance)  
  • France's place in the EU and the world, relationship between our countries. (British Values: Mutual Respect and Tolerance)
