Maths, the year 4's have been exploring how to create numbers upto 10,000 using the deans to represent thousands, hundreds, tens and ones. We drew the deans to create the given numbers. We found drawing the 3D shape for the thousands tricky, but with great persistence and our growth mindset, all the children achieved their objective. Take a look at the mathematical fun we had!
